Sidney Feinberg

1940 - 2007

The focus of Sidney Feinberg’s entertainment practice was on theatre, television and motion pictures. Among the numerous Broadway and Off-Broadway shows he represented were the long-running initial production of Hair, Godspell and Crazy For You. He represented more than a hundred made-for-television motion pictures and mini-series, telecast by CBS, NBC, ABC, TNT, Showtime, HBO, A&E, and the Sci-Fi Channel, including such award-winning productions as A Christmas Carol, The Last Days of Patton and Oliver Twist (all of which starred George C. Scott), The Old Man and the Sea (starring Anthony Quinn), the Christopher Award winner A Child’s Wish (in which President Clinton guest-starred), and the Emmy and Peabody Award-winning documentary series The Body Human and Lifeline. Mr. Feinberg represented such motion pictures as Sleuth, The Heartbreak Kid, The Taking of Pelham 1, 2, 3 and The Stepford Wives. He also represented many authors of great stature as well as acclaimed performers.

A graduate of Columbia College and Harvard Law School, Mr. Feinberg was a founding partner of Leavy Rosensweig & Hyman, and was Of Counsel to our firm.
