Scott Lazarus is a founding partner of Lazarus & Harris LLP. An accomplished veteran in the practice of theatre law, Mr. Lazarus currently represents the Broadway and national touring productions of Mamma Mia!, the Broadway productions Of Green Day's American Idiot, The Merchant of Venice with Al Pacino, David Mamet's A Life in the Theatre with Patrick Stewart and T.R. Knight, the West End and Broadway productions of La Bête, Bloody, Bloody Andrew Jackson, the Broadway and national touring production transfer of the National Theatre of Great Britain's production of War Horse, the national touring productions of South Pacific (2008 Tony Award®, Best Revival of a Musical) and Hair (2009 Tony Award®, Best Revival of a Musical), and the Off-Broadway productions of Love Loss and What I Wore, The Divine Sister and Through the Night. Upcoming Broadway productions include The Book of Mormon (from the Creators of South Park), Yank!, Annie, Minsky's, Betty Boop, Kinky Boots and Rebecca.

He began his legal career dealing extensively with all of the American and Canadian companies of the Cameron Mackintosh productions of Les Miserables, The Phantom of the Opera and Miss Saigon, as well as the multi-award winning productions of Crazy for You and Jelly's Last Jam. His clients include numerous stage, film and television producers as well as actors, writers, directors and literary estates.
Scott is a graduate of New York Law School and was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1991.
